OUR clearly better

Headlight Restoration Service

Oxidized Surface Removal

Lenses have varying degrees of damage.  Regardless of how little or extreme the damage is to the surface, the entire lens surface must be sanded down to the original plastic.  This time-consuming process ensures the surface is free from any previous coating, which can jeopardize the chemical adhesion of the new clear coat.  This process is where most kits and other services fall short.

Clear Coat Applications

When the old, oxidized surface of the headlight is finally removed and the lenses are prepped, we mix up the clear coat compound on site based on the size and shape of your lens.  We use a professional spray gun to apply multiple coats of the special automotive clear coat with UV protectant.  Original and after market headlight lenses don't have that protectant, which is why they turn cloudy and yellow.  Your restored lenses will have UV protectant so they will stay clear for many years to come.  This is what sets CLEARLY BETTER Headlights apart from other companies - we stand behind our product and service.

Ready-to-go Results

Your vehicle is ready to drive once the professional restoration is completed.  The surface is hard to the touch and can handle hand-washing the same day.  We recommend you wait just seven days to use any commercial car wash to prevent any possible damage.
